Itineraries

From far away on the larger cruise ships, glaciers appear white. However when you travel expedition style, using a small nimble ship and zodiacs to get up close, you see the entire spectrum of color.

Guests aboard Lindblad Expeditions cruise ships know what Alaska feels, smells and tastes like. The Expedition team, comprised of five naturalists including an Expedition Leader, is unsurpassed at giving you access to information, stories and experiences that bring you in to the real Alaska. In alliance with National Geographic, Lindblad Expeditions has the local connections that enable us to bring you to Tongass National Forest under special-use permits. And through the Lindblad / National Geographic-funded Alaska Whale Foundation and its experts, you’ll literally see more whales.

From glaciers to whales, to the cultures that have inhabited the land for centuries, these expeditions are crafted specifically to immerse you in the remote wildernesses of Alaska that most travelers don’t get to see.
